By: Evilo | July 31st, 2009

41- Emmanuel Rivière (U), St Etienne, ST/RB, 90
Rating : 8.5C-, B. Gomis
Talent : Rivière is an athlete and has good awareness. He is fast and physical.
Season : Rivière was used as an emergency callup to play…. Right back. He is a striker though but played admirably well on defense.

When did they use him at right back? I don’t recall this.

I dont think he will turn out to be much of a player, he looked very raw in the u-19 tournament. He has speed and a physical quality to him, but he lacks the technique needed to create chances for himself and others.

Which is probably why Perrin has used him somewhere else.
He has scored a lot in youth competitions though, he was looked on by Arsenal and Chelsea.
Now, I’m not sure he’ll score that much in pro rank, because his physical impact is lessened there obviously.

Can you put them in one post? Because it’s difficult having to go through each post and it means you can’t see the other recent articles on the Ligue 1 page.

I’ll put them all together at the end.
If you want to see older posts, I suggest you use either the archives or the categories (eg : news).
