L1 18th round prospects preview

Here’s a preview of the U22 prospects in action tonight and tomorrow.

Le Mans – Bordeaux
Gervinho and Maiga should provide plenty of danger for Bordeaux. Coutadeur, Dossevi and Bouhours will try to rebound on their somewhat weak game last weekend.
For Bordeaux, Gourcuff will be a constant danger for Le Mans’s back line.

Auxerre – PSG
Narry will try to continue his good form in the middle of the field, while Quercia will weirdly get another start, despite some real weak games lately.

Toulouse – St Etienne
Sissoko should get a start for Toulouse. He’s a very interesting young player.
For St Etienne, Benalouane will try to keep Les Verts streak and Mirallas or Payet will try to duplicate last weeken’s good performance. Matuidi will play RB again, and should be captain.

Valenciennes – Monaco
Sanchez will rock the middle (I like this player a lot!).
For Monaco, Mollo could get a start and Pokrivac could start on the bench after his poor showing last week.

Sochaux – Caen
Erding and Jokic will start, and Boudebouz and Martin will try to get the last starting spot.
For Caen, Julien Toudic will once again have the confidence of his coach.

Nancy – Grenoble
Dia will get a start on the right side of Nancy’s attack, while Feghouli will do the same for Grenoble.

Le Havre – Lorient
Nestor could start for Le Havre.
Gameiro will try to continue his hot streak.

Nice – Lille
Ospina will keep Nice’s goal. Rémy is injured again.
For Lille, Cabaye will start in midfield, as usual, while Hazard may or may not start.

Lyon – Marseille
In the big clash of L1, Ben Arfa and Benzema will be the center of the attention.

Top 3 predictions :
1- Benzema : he likes to shine in big occasions.
2- Ben Arfa : when motivated, he’s unstoppable.
3- Gameiro : he should have fun with Le Havre’s defense.

Flop 3 predictions :
1- Quercia : he’s been awful for a while.
2- Nestor : Gameiro and co for 90 minutes? Ouch!
3- Feghouli : been a while since he’s had impact on a game.
